Getting food

Bingley Community Kitchen runs a weekly market stall, which stocks a selection of fresh, tinned and dried food, ambient food, toiletries, household items and cleaning products.

A weekly membership fee of £5 allows members to take home 12 items of shopping every week, plus additional items dependent on availability, and other benefits including an optional Credit Union savings account.

Bingley Community Kitchen also provides food parcels to primary schools and to those referred by schools.

Making referrals

Referrals are available from schools and other local organisations including health and social care professionals.

Families can self-refer if they are in receipt of Universal Credit or income support – documentary proof must be shown.

Bingley schools wishing to make a referral to the foodbank should email communitykitchen.bingley@gmail.com.

Bingley Community Kitchen does not currently have opportunities to volunteer.
