Markets and Social Supermarkets

Markets and Social Supermarkets offer fresh and long-life food at a subsidised cost (but not free) to those on lower incomes or who cannot afford full-price food. Access is usually by referral or self-referral and there may be a small membership fee.

Markets that are part of the FoodSavers Network offer discounted fresh and long-life food for a small weekly membership fee, along with easy access to a Credit Union savings account and other member benefits. Find FoodSavers projects here.
